SpeedFun Furious Evo for Shimano Ep8 (EP800)
SpeedFun Furious Evo is a tuning for ebike with Shimano motor that allows you to remove the 25 kmH speed block by fully exploiting the potential of the Shimano Ep8 (EP800) motor.
This release device is specially designed for Shimano Ep8 (EP800) motor with mechanical derailleur (no DI2).
All SpeedFun Furious Evo speed release devices can be activated and deactivated at any time even without connecting to the light output.
What is the tuning for Shimano Ep8 (EP800) SpeedFun Furious Evo?
The function of the Furious Evo for Shimano Ep8 (EP800) tuning device is to electronically manipulate the rotation speed of the rear wheel and to communicate to the engine a speed always lower than 25 KmH, this allows to obtain a real speed with a very high active engine. The maximum speed limit is given by the power of the engine added to the power expressed by one’s legs (info).
When the device is active, the display will show the exact speed up to about 20 KmH approx, beyond which a manipulated speed will always be shown below 25 KmH.
